Social
position, manners, etiquette, and skills of hosting were very important to the
ladies of old. One way they showed off their social position was receiving
guests and hosting Afternoon teas.
Proper
manners and etiquette were top priority at these teas. The
skills of etiquette and manners were instilled starting at a very young age.
Just
as the Ladies of Old, our Victoria campers will enjoy afternoon teas.
By
doing so they will learn how to set a table, host a tea, how to serve a guest,
how to brew a perfect pot of tea, what utensils to use with what foods and of course
keep table manners and etiquette as top priority.
